👋🏼 hello there, anon


i'm dr. marina von steinkirch (if we are not acquainted, please call me dr. steinkirch), formerly known as bt3gl (a handle i've used since high school).

i am a theoretical physicist by training (b.sc., m.sc. en route, ph.d.) and a principal software engineer by trade. i started coding in middle school and now have over two decades of experience, working at large companies, startups, and private projects — both as an individual contributor and in leadership roles. in addition, i am also a writer, philosopher, and filmmaker. i'm very grateful for the legacy i've been building over the years and for the opportunity to have spent the first part of my life fully dedicated to my career && studies. i'm proud to have contributed not only to technology && science, but also as a leader working toward a better world.

now, i'm entering a new phase of my life, one where i can leverage all my knowledge && experience to continue building my legacy through the lens of wisdom && maturity, while also focusing on my partner, home, and family. i'm deeply grateful for all the opportunities G'd has given me in life, and for my skills, health, protection, and intelligence.
