It's still used a lot. As examples:

So, no, I think that it should be a dep

One of the occurrences you linked was unused. Removed.
Sill considering, because the return types of ts() and tsx() are basically never really needed to be typed down that narrowly.

But yes, currently we are exposing those deps. Would love to hear what @Rich-Harris thinks
