Welcome to the Everest Repository, Team Fully Stacked's Semester-long project to redefine the way we communicate our projects to the professionals. Conceptualised and designed at The University of Melbourne.
After a series of back and forth discussions and meetings with our clients we finalised the project requirements and laid it out in a Motivational Model diagram (as seen in Figure 1 above) and confirmed it with the client team.
The main requirements which we agreed to with our clients were that they wanted a web application which would work as an e-portfolio system so that users can store their work, projects, skills, achievements and past experiences as normally done in a portfolio, along with some added media functionalities like uploading images and files. A key requirement was that a user has to register an account and should be able to share and make their projects and achievements available for others to see. They should also be able to search other users and view their projects through a ‘user search’ functionality.
Two key aspects of the application which they wanted us to pay particular attention to were - ‘Aesthetics’ (the ‘look good’ and ‘feel-good’ nature of the user experience) and ‘Template Switching’ (the ability for the user to change or customise the overall look of the page).
