I hold MSc degrees in Statistics and Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. My research interests include infectious disease epidemiology, antibiotic resistance, and social vulnerability. I have teaching experience in R programming, data science, visualization techniques, and causal inference. I am preparing applications for PhD programs in 2026 ✨
You can find me online at all these places: 🏠 Personal website and blog | 🐦 X | 💼 LinkedIn
I invite you to read my CV in ESP or ENG
🔭 I’m currently working:
- Spatio-temporal modeling of tuberculosis and social vulnerability
- Climate change, heat exposure, and adverse birth outcomes in Chile
- Antibiotic resistance burden and hospital epidemiology
🌱 I’m currently learning:
- Bayesian hierarchical modeling
- Advanced spatio-temporal statistics
- Machine learning methods for epidemiology
- Reproducible research infrastructure with Quarto & Targets**
