Snapshot extension requires Team-plan @tiptap-pro/provider despite being listed as Start-plan feature

I am a subscriber to the Tiptap Start Plan

I try to implement @tiptap/extension-snapshot which stated as Start Plan, however this extension requires to have

import { TiptapCollabProvider } from  @tiptap-pro/provider

which I cannot install it: error Couldn't find package "@tiptap-pro/provider@^3.3.0"

Steps to Reproduce

I'm on start plan

1. install normal tiptap
2. try to integrate Tiptap snapshot extension

useEditor({
 extensions: [
      // ...
      Snapshot.configure({ /*...*/ })
    ],
  })

3. at this point, running the dev server results an error

Module not found: Can't resolve '@tiptap-pro/provider'
> 1 | import{Extension as g}from"@tiptap/core";import{TiptapCollabProvider as u,WebSocketStatus as v}from"@tiptap-pro/provider";

4. now try to install @tiptap-pro/provider results an error as well where it could not find the package

Is there any way I can use snapshot extension without all the collab configuration to set? all I need is a raw diff which I can later save it to my own db

@krehwell It is @tiptap-pro/extension-snapshot not @tiptap/extension-snapshot. You also need @tiptap-pro/provider in your project.

pnpm add @tiptap-pro/provider

If installation keeps failing, try a clean removing the node_modules and lock file:

rm -rf node_modules pnpm-lock.yaml

Ensure your project includes an .npmrc configured for Tiptap Pro so the private packages can be resolved.

@Aslam97 hey, I did install @tiptap-pro/extension-snapshot (my bad for saying it's @tiptap/extension-snapshot)

I install it through yarn, I do have my .npmrc and I can get the tiptap-pro (start plan) package to be installed. it's just the @tiptap-pro/provider always fail to install

doing this

yarn workspace @ourteam/oureditor add @tiptap-pro/provider

at this point, I think tiptap-pro/provider is behind team plan maybe? but if this is behind team plan then snapshot package should be advertised as it's for team plan not for start plan

I do not have an account with the Start plan, so I am unable to reproduce the issue. However, my understanding is that the Start plan should allow downloading @tiptap-pro/provider, although I am not entirely certain. You can confirm this by asking the Tiptap team in Discord or by contacting them directly via email.
