Improve usage documentation

Hi,
can you provide examples of what is a typical workflow with python?
specifically after spending a couple of hours looking at the code, the webside (under construction), the readme here - I am still not sure what should I do to start creating and running python tests for yaml, and where I am supposed to put in the code that is being tested.
