Cannot get a standard layout template working with navbar, footer and nav drawer

Hi there,

I am trying to get a standard layout going, it is mostly working however I would like the navbar and footer to be "pinned" to the top and bottom of the screen respectively and only have the main content scroll. I have tried everything but the solution eludes me.

The above has exactly what I want with the caveat that when I scroll the main page content the navbar scrolls out of view and then when I reach the end the footer scrolls into view. I would like these to stay pinned in their positions (top and bottom)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you that works, also looks like my web components generating extra html around the elements caused some issues too!
