Dependency Wire.h is not found while installing

This is the error I get:

Failed to install library: 'VL53L1X_ULD:1.2.3'. No valid dependencies solution found: dependency 'Wire' is not available

I moved the Wire library from arduino-esp32 repo into the libraries folder of arduino. however the installation still doesnt work. Can anyone please help?
