Well, sort of. The original dev has stopped maintaining it, but a much larger and actively developed semi-official fork exists at tqdm/tqdm This is the version you get when you run pip install tqdm. This is the version maintained by multiple developers and owned by an organization.

The "fork" is so large that most of the code comes from further additions and not the original developer. It has the same speed and simplicity. This is the tqdm you know and love.
