App Width Not Adjusting

Hello! I'm new with Aerospace and tile management apps in MacOS. I installed via Homebrew and I'm using an external monitor. I have a wide 49" Samsung monitor, and for some reason when I enable Aerospace, I am only able to see one app at a time. The width goes across the entire screen instead of tiling and allowing other apps to be shown. When I try to manually resize, it immediately full screens again and doesn't stay put. I also tried disconnecting the monitor and trying on my mac but same issue. Running MacOS 15.6.1 on 2021 MBP M1 chip. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Oh wow. I thought when I started the app it would automatically layout horizontally as tiles. This works - thank you so much!
