What partially fixed the issue for me was to "soft ignore" the window that is created by Slack when you are sharing your screen and people start drawing on it. The caveat is that you won't see the what people is drawing directly on your screen, since the overlay is somewhere else, but at least it doesn't start switching your workspace:

I found a hacky workaround that actually works pretty reliably.
In aerospace.toml, comment out the original workspace switching. Replace it with a custom script that moves the window.

You can tune the sleep ms to make it more or less reliable; You can try eliminating some of the blocks, if you care about the readability of the script. Make sure to chmod +x the script too.
