Normalization question - "*_show_interface" ADMIN_STATE vs PROTOCOL_STATUS

• ntc-templates version: 7.5.0

Proposed Functionality

For "show interface" templates, is there a preference for ADMIN_STATE or PROTOCOL_STATUS?

nxos has ADMIN_STATE (as do several other templates) and ios has PROTOCOL_STATUS.

PR #1946 is proposing to add ADMIN_STATUS to alcatel_aos_show_interfaces_ethernet.textfsm

There are at least three alcatel_aos templates that use ADMIN_STATUS already.
