Bad description in `Recent Sessions`

A few observations after delegating to cloud:

• The Read [](file...) log info could perhaps be rendered differently (just Reading file or Read <file name>)
• Cloud says 1 mins (plural) whereas background says 1 min (singular)

I am reusing the date area for 2 purposes: showing how long a task runs when its running and how long ago it finished. That would maybe explain the different wording.

But the description is a bug we should look into.

@joshspicer given your recent PR in this area, moving to you. This is one of the cases where I got markdown as output, even though it was typed as string. Can you check after your change how description works like in all of the runtimes?
