Question: what is the difference between this project and the Flink project's k8s operator?

Hi there,

Can't quite figure out judging by the docs whether this operator is distinct from the Flink project's operator. Are they the same thing, fork's of each other or completely distinct?

Does anyone have a high level comparison between the features of the two that might inform choosing between them?

@campbellC They are completely different project, solving exactly the same challenge :). This project preceded flinks official operator. The only difference I have been able to notice is the deployment strategies which vary a bit, other then that I believe they are mostly the same. As this project doesn't seem to be maintained anymore (last official version came out a year and a half ago), I suggest heading towards the Flink official operator instead.
