Hi, could you tell me how you built the module? Did you follow the instructions on the project's main page? Because with kernel 6.17 it gives a lot of errors; I'm using Fedora 43 KDE. Thanks in advance.

I carefully followed the provided instructions. I'm on Fedora, not Ubuntu, so I had to track down some of the python dependencies.

And I had trouble with one instruction:

sudo cp ./kernel_module/* /usr/src/LenovoLegionLinux-1.0.0 -r

In order for this to work, I had to move up one directory:

cd ..

Yesterday, I had a kernel update and the LLL modules rebuilt without issue.

I would say when compiling I had lots of warnings, but no show-stopping errors.

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm also using Fedora 43, and when I try to install from the COPR repository, I get a lot of dependency errors, especially regarding Python. This made me think about building the module from source code. I'll try that and keep your recommendations in mind. Thanks again.

I've got one more trick for you. :) You may know, but just in case... With python dependencies, there are two ways to install : dnf and pip. I asked Google's Gemini (much better than ChatGPT IMHO), to give me install links for both. Often, the way that worked was pip.

Great, I'll follow your advice. I was familiar with the 'pip install' installation, but I thought that building kernel modules required installing dependencies using 'dnf'. Thank you so much; I just learned something new, which is the beauty of GNU/Linux. let's get to work!
