Ability to restore a previous version

As a user of the Auditlog, I may wish to quickly go back to a previous version of an object. Especially when there are changes to multiple fields, doing this via copy and paste may be quite cumbersome and error-prone. I would like to ask if anyone has thoughts of enabling a Rollback/Revert feature as available in other Django model audit packages?

The workaround of combinining django-auditlog and django-reversion currently does not work, and there is a lot of overlap between the two packages, but I could imagine an extension covering this gap.

@loleg Have you taken a look at django-simple-history? It supports a revert operation.

Yes, I tested it as well - as with django-reversion, found it lacking in key areas. It unfortunately also does not work in combination with Auditlog.
