The problem

I get the following error: Oops... an error occured
Unexpected response Forbidden

I had to authenticate the plugin again today (did it yesterday) - yesterday no problems, but today this error arose. I deleted the plugin - restarted HA and installed it again to find this error after I login to volvo portal. I deleted the API in volvo portal and created a new one. But same error when trying to install volvo integration in HA after a reboot of HA.

Same issue here. Had to uninstall and remove the old HACS integration, and get this when trying to configure the official integration

I'm on 2025.12.2 and getting the same error. Was running the HACS version fine, so uninstalled it, rebooted, and got this error on my attempt to reinstall. I've tried to configure it via my local IP and via NabuCasa address, but same result.

Same here, got a message telling to uninstall HACS integration. The integration was working as normal. When trying to setup the official integration it fails with the same error screen @Mazo pasted above.

Same problem here when setting up the integration first time after removing the HACS one.

Same. In my opinion, it has nothing to do with the previous custom integration. I was able to successfully set up the official one this afternoon and remove the HACS version. The problem only came up later.

Seems like we are in the same boat. But I read the documentation, should we create a nabu casa account and not subscribe?

Same problem.. reverted back to the 'OLD' HACS plugin which works without errors.
If you removed it already: take the following steps as the plugin is not in HACS anymore

1. go to : https://github.com/thomasddn/ha-volvo-cars
2. click on the green <> Code Button
3. Choose Download ZIP
4. Extract the zip file and copy the folder ./volvo_cars to you home assistnat ./custom_components folder
5. restart HA and reconfigure your integration using the custom instration
