Is there any documentation showing how to get reports?

It's not clear to me how to submit, request, and download reports. Can anyone share a code snippet or link to documentation for reports?

Have you managed to figure this out? I am sitting with the same situation. Downloading the report give me a massive byte str but cant seem to download the zip. I am using the reports.all(**{'type': 'item'}) but no luck.
