Support for More Currencies and Custom Exchange Rate Providers in CRM

Currently, the CRM relies on limited currency options and external APIs for exchange rates. This creates two problems for businesses:

• Restricted Currency Options: Some local or less common currencies are missing from the system.
• Dependency on a Single API: If the default exchange rate API fails, there is no simple way to switch to another provider or use a custom/internal API.

Proposal:

Expand Currency Support: Allow administrators to easily add additional currencies (beyond the default list) without modifying core code.

Custom Exchange Rate Providers: Introduce a flexible setting to:

• Use the default API,
• Connect to another public API (by URL), or
• Plug in a custom/internal API (for companies that maintain their own rates).

Fallback Option: If an API fails, the system should allow manual entry or fallback to a secondary provider.

Benefits:

• Greater adoption in regions with underrepresented currencies.
• Increased flexibility for companies that need to comply with local regulations or maintain their own currency rates.
• Reduced dependency on a single API (improves reliability and business continuity).
