Is it possible to have a shared .dep folder?

I have 10 sites on the same server, they are all clones of eachother so they all reuse the same set of composer packages. Right now I end up with 10 .dep folder which are all ~3GB each and that's 30GB of server space unnecessarily taken up. Is it possible to somehow instruct deployer to use a shared common folder for composer cache ?

What about using composer cache? But this is actually very intersting problem.
