There was a problem hiding this comment.
This was missing the news snippet because it is not using towncrier. I have added it to the CHANGES.rst.
And Python 3.9 was still listed, I have bumped it to 3.10 minimum.

The script that we used for creating #11 did not fully work. Probably this is because this package does not use towncrier.
