Investigate HEIF image support

I'm pretty sure the answer will be: this isn't supported natively on one of: [Android/iOS/Desktop], but I want to be sure it doesn't work.

Good First Issue

• Produce and attach a zipped an apkg containing a HEIF image, check whether it renders in AnkiDroid WebView/Anki Desktop, regardless of whether it works, list the OS/Anki versions you're testing with

When I use this option enable the Pic size reduce but Anki app not rendering..... Like in screenshots.... Any way becoz this reduce app load and internet dealy for sync problem.. That image format is common now days..... Keep improving ☺️

Hi 👋 I'd like to work on this issue.

I will:
• create a test .apkg containing a HEIF/HEIC image
• test if it renders in AnkiDroid WebView and Anki Desktop
• report back with OS + app versions
• attach the .apkg file here

I’ll step back for now and let @Adambugfinder continue.
On my side: Anki Desktop (Windows 25.xx) treats HEIC as [sound:...] and doesn’t render it.

This was my first GSoC-related contribution 😔 but I’m still keen to help with AnkiDroid 🙂

This isn't supported in a WebView on Chrome 143.0.7499.170 for my Mac

It's not feasible to support this until it will render in a WebView. Maybe in a few years once Google adds support
