Interest in converting Algolia e2e tests to Playwright?

This question is primarily for @Haroenv and the other maintainers - are y'all interested in converting the end 2 end tests to Playwright? This would also allow accessibility tests with either Axe or Alfa to be added to the suite. It's something I could do as a weekend project.

Does playwright support multiple browsers now? we've caught tests failing in IE, Safari, Firefox from time to time thanks to the E2E tests.

Yes, Playwright supports multiple browsers and can be linked up to BrowserStack to support multiple browser/OS combinations. I also just took a look and apparently it works with SauceLabs as well these days - https://docs.saucelabs.com/web-apps/automated-testing/playwright/

In the next branch we don't support Internet Explorer anymore, if you want to do those changes, please make a PR against that branch. Thanks! Saucelabs is indeed the provider we have an account with now.
