Yo @Klaaktu 👋 I feel you — this fullscreen title bar behavior is super annoying and it’s a classic difference between sandboxed Flatpak vs RPM / native builds on GNOME. What’s happening
Workarounds / suggestions
Basically, Flatpak handles the fullscreen title bar dance better because of its sandbox integration, while RPM / native builds are more at the mercy of GNOME / GTK behavior. Using the internal menu or VSCodium shortcuts usually fixes the inconsistency. |

I set F11 to fullscreen (for any window) in GNOME settings (Fedora 40). And when I press F11, Flatpak VSCodium correctly detect that's in fullscreen, but not the RPM version:
The window goes fullscreen but right clicking on the search bar doesn't show "Hide title bar in fullscreen" option.
I have set window.customTitleBarVisibility to "window", and the Flatpak version hides title bar correctly but the RPM version doesn't.
And vice-versa, if I go fullscreen via the menu option, the title bar hides but won't show up by pressing F11 to quit fullscreen, so I'm unable to quit the app due to quit button being hidden.
