Lost untitled file

I was in the habit of keeping notes in an unsaved and untitled file. It worked great. Then suddenly a few days ago my data disappeared. Probably due to an update.

I searched. I found previous answers about this happening to VSCode. The answers seem to indicate that the file would be in:

%APPDATA%\VSCodium\Backups\timestamp\untitled

I assume that is a timestamp, it looks like one. There is a file there but it is only the current untitled file. I also looked in:

%APPDATA%\VSCodium\User\History

There are many folders and files there but I do not see anything that looks like what I am looking for. If the file should be there then I will try harder.

All the answers for VSCode indicate the data is there somewhere. Is it? If so then where?
