Hello,
Disclaimer: I'm not a .NET expert...
I noticed that all net6.0 distributions bundle a 'refs' folder, containing DLL references to the .NET 6 SDK.
Is this folder really needed? My understanding is that it's not mandatory for the application to run. It takes a bit of space in the distribution, and in our case some .NET 6 files are flagged by vulnerability scanning software.
What would it take to not bundle them? I can contribute the change if needed with some guidance.
Thanks
