Viz: Labels refining

Is it possible to refine a bit the automatic labels from the public endpoints?
e.g.
a) in the x axis the YEAR is not clearly depicted, but with some extra characters
b) the VALUE labels do not show only the "country" but the whole path... which is not a desirable format
