I have not tested this, but there is a set command called You could try to remove the direction keys from the list, and see if that works. I have not tested this though, so it is possible that it does not solve anything. |

When using other editors: NeoVim, Zed, VSCode, hitting direction keys/hjkl when the hover info is open in normal mode closes it and continues vim motions as normal. In JetBrains editors, however, you typically have to hit ESC for the hover to close. I have noticed this is somewhat inconsistent as in Rider it sometimes works like this, and other times (and in other editors like WebStorm) it does not.
Is there a way to fix this / disable this behaviour, as persistent googling and scouring various forums hasn't yielded answers? Or is this just a known annoyance that I have to live with? It is the only "big" gripe I have with using JetBrains editors, which I otherwise love dearly.
