I wanted to report that the most recent update to your blocklist — applied around 11:30 BST, 5 July 2025 — is currently breaking Amazon Alexa functionality.

Specifically, it blocks essential domains required for Alexa devices and the Alexa app to connect to Amazon's servers. This includes endpoints like:

• avs-alexa-14-eu.amazon.com
• dp-gw-na.amazon.com

These are not just telemetry or analytics endpoints — they are used during device provisioning, authentication, and live voice streaming.

Removing the filter from my NextDNS setup immediately restored full Alexa functionality.

I’d recommend reviewing the recent additions and considering a rollback or exemption for these domains to prevent unintended outages for users with smart home devices.

Please open issues from next time. And, those 2 domains are not block listed. Maybe something else was causing issue?
