[FEATURE REQUEST] Option to change the default font

The current font is terrible in big resolutions (2k at 3 gui size) making it very hard to read.

At 1440p on a 27inch display with GUI scale 2, this is perfectly readable.

However I am not against the idea of being able to manually adjust the font size to some extend as I have no higher resolution (4k or ultrawide) display to test with as a few players even use their TV with increased scaling (usually within the OS) to be able to read whatever is shown on screen.
However in my case with no zooming in whatsoever, This very much is similarly sized to that of my browser or other applications

Maybe this could be resolved with - + buttons next to the arrows up top with the default being all the way zoomed out as is and then be able to incrementally increase scaling, like 3 times or so

Personally, i would not call this "perfectly readable" either, looks very similar to the image buuz sent.. maybe "serviceably readable"? Super thin white font on a dark background is one of the worst combos possible IMO, all the thinner letters blend in hard to the background, especially on lower contrast monitors making the brain have to do much more work to connect the dots. Switching to something with a bit higher weight would help a TON with readability...

I believe buuz is requesting to be able to change the entire default font for the book he made for his mod using GuideME, not just the ability to change font size/scale.

EDIT: Just looked at both these images through an OLED monitor and they actually look great, so im sure some people are having a great experience with higher contrast monitors. Minecraft gamers, however, are not exactly known for having the best hardware/peripherals lol.

Here's a couple images I took showing what both Buuz and John's screenshots look like on a not so great but completely serviceable monitor... You can see the font in both images is randomly much whiter in some places and blends in to the background in others(even in the same letter).. these images are fairly accurate to what I see both in this GitHub issue's images and in game. If anything, the camera made them look better, not worse.

Again, looking at both Buuz and John's screenshots on a much nicer monitor, they both look excellent and I would never complain.

So the original is about the font being terrible. I will fix this in 2.6.0 by independently scaling the guide UI to an even GUI scale to avoid the Unicode font rendering being broken at odd GUI scales.

I am undecided whether I'll close this issue since changing the font will still be possible via custom Guide styling.
